Blood

I saw a bit of red blood in my last trip to the bathroom. And, now I just sit and wait to see if that's it or if that's just the beginning. I am trying to remain calm and remember that there is very little that I can do at this point. But that is soooo difficult. No cramps or unusual symptoms, just the same pregnancy symptoms I have been experiencing for the last 4 weeks or so. Tomorrow I will call the doctor if I see more blood in the morning. For now, we wait...

Symptoms are good. As long as there are symptoms, it is a good sign. NBHHY.

Oh, man. Everything is crossed for you.

Oh crap...I know you are probably fine, lots of people have bleeding and everything turns out just fine.

But I hope you don't mind if I say a little prayer for you and pooter...

Oh Nicole, I'm sorry you're having this extra stress. I hope its nothing to be worried about, and that the bleeding has stopped. And don't be afraid to call the doctor to set your mind at ease in the meantime, thats what they're there for. I'm be thinking of you and praying everything is okay with your little bean. x

NBHHY. Take deep breaths and try to relax. This could be completely normal for you. And you still have all of your symptoms, which is an EXCELLENT sign. Call the doctor tonight if you need to - that's what they're there for. And remember that we're here for you, too.

i join everyone else in hoping everything's fine. it is not uncommon as long as it does not get worse or constant but it's good to call the doctor and be sure you're ok. hope you can relax. i know how stressful it can be. i went nuts and got extremely anxious after the first sonogram when they couldn't find a heartbeat but it all turned out fine. that was many weeks ago.

like everyone said...praying it's nothing. it is probably nothing.

Ack.. so much stress...

Like everyone else, I'm sure it's all fine, and the fact that there isn't pain is always a good thing. x

Why does everything have to be so complicated? I'll be thinking of you, Nicole. I really hope everything is OK, and you can get some reassurances from the doctor to ease the stress.

Oh Nicole, I am hoping this blood is just a bit of spotting and nothing more. I bled heavily for 5 weeks with this pregnancy and I'm still here, so I want to reassure you blood can be present but not mean everything is over. I'm thinking of you and have all fingers and toes crossed.

Just wanted you to know you're on my mind and that I hope the spotting is nothing serious at all.

Nicole...you are in my prayers...I know what you are feeling! trust me I know...try not to think too much of it...I know it is hard not to...but adding stress to it will not help. Call the Dr. and rest asure you are loved and have many prayer chains going. Hugs and Blessings! I am here if you need to talk! Hugs

Little Sister,

NBHHY means "Nothing bad has happened yet." - as in don't catastrophize, don't write things off without any evidence.

It was a saying coined by a now-retired well-known blogger named Grrl at Chez Miscarriage. She had a baby, and took her blog down after retirement, a shame since I understand she was a great writer.

Crossing fingers and toes for you. There is nothing more garunteed to scare a pregnant woman near to death than bleeding, however little. Do get it checked out as soon as possible. We're all here hoping for you and little bean. Take care of yourself.

hang in there. try distract yourself for a bit to get some time in. get in touch if you need a voice. it apparently doesn't always end poorly. what the hell do i know. just hang in there girlfriend.

I bled in both my pregnancies, if that's any consolation. Keep strong, keep praying. It will be okay!

Thinking of you and looking forward to a (hopefully) happy update.

I'm one of the bleeders in pregnancy too. I bled heavily at 6 weeks and then off and on until 12 weeks and my son's 2 years old now.

Good luck.
